Moots Cycles
In every bicycle tour the frame is the heart
and soul of the ride. For the North American stage of my Six Continents
Quest I will ride a custom made Moots Titanium YBB frameset with
a tandem fork. With the use of a suspension stem this incredible
touring machine is extremely comfortable and extraordinarily efficient.

Western Mountaineering
During the long cold nights on tour there are
only two items that every bike tourist needs; a great sleeping bag
and a lightweight down jacket. I will rely on Western Mountaineering's
VersaLite to keep me warm while I sleep. This sleeping bag is a
dream come true. Rated to 15 degrees with 850 fill Goose down, it
weighs a scant 2.2 pounds and is a work of outdoor equipment art.
In the hours prior to sleep one has to find a camp, set up the tent,
start dinner and keep the body warm to help with recovery. For that
task I will use a Western Mountaineering Flight Jacket. Using the
same 850 down fill and beautiful workmanship this is the ideal garment
for cool weather camping. For a complete guide of Western Mountaineering's
products go to: www.westernmountaineering.com.
